A volunteer-day checklist
Neighbor Care Days are how a small charity gets physical work done. If you have not volunteered with us before, this is the culture.
Before you come
- Email admin@htcharityfoundation.org so we know the headcount
- Wear closed-toe shoes; packing days are warehouse-simple
- Do not bring used clothing unless we have asked for it
Photos
We may photograph hands, tables, and boxes. We do not photograph children or clients without written permission. If you prefer not to appear, tell the lead at check-in. That request is honored without a speech.
After
If you captured photos you are willing to share, send them to the same email. Credit is optional. Accuracy is not: we will not caption a packing table as a “citywide gala.”
